As the wise old sage Peter Weller pointed out, you've got to read between the lines if you want the truth. Do that with the latest round of the News of the World phone hacking scandal that's reached 10 Downing Street, and you'll see that there's much more to this story than meets the eye.

Afghanistan in the UK

In April, Andy Capper and I went to STANTA to visit the MoD's fake Afghan village where British soldiers trained for their eventual deployment to Helmand province. It was a wild ride that reminded me that I am sooo not cut out for the military.
